Before you can build something new, the old concrete has to go. HR Concrete Services handles concrete demolition and removal across St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa, and the Tampa Bay area. We break it up, haul it out, and leave your site ready for the next phase.

Concrete demolition is the first step in a lot of our projects. Old driveways, cracked slabs, damaged sidewalks, failing pool decks, and deteriorated foundations all need to come out before new concrete can go in. We handle the full process from breaking to hauling to site cleanup.

We use a combination of equipment depending on the job. Skid steers with breaker attachments handle large slabs and thick foundations. Jackhammers work tight spaces and areas near structures that need to stay intact. Concrete saws make clean separation cuts to protect adjacent surfaces you want to keep.

Haul off is included in every demolition project. Broken concrete is loaded into dump trailers and taken to recycling facilities. We do not leave piles of rubble on your property. When we are done, the area is clean, graded, and ready for the next step.

We also handle partial demolition, which is common in repair work. If only a section of your driveway or slab needs to come out, we saw cut clean edges, remove the damaged portion, and prepare the area for a new pour that ties into the existing concrete.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does concrete demolition cost?

Cost depends on the thickness of the concrete, whether it has reinforcement, total square footage, and site access. We provide a detailed estimate after evaluating your specific project.

Do you haul away the old concrete?

Yes. Haul off is included in every demolition project. We load the material into dump trailers and take it to a recycling facility. Your site is left clean and ready.

Can you remove just part of a slab?

Absolutely. We saw cut clean edges to separate the section being removed from the concrete you want to keep. This gives us a clean joint for the new pour.

How long does demolition take?

Most residential demolition projects take 1 to 2 days. A standard driveway removal can often be completed in a single day including haul off.
